Spector sweater

I started the project and finished the neck already but I’m not sure I like how it turned out because of the colour pooling. Decided to knit another version of neckband using the LBA greyish yarn. I finished midnight and it does look better. Judging from it alone both look fine, but once I tried them on the neck, the LBA yarn version has more clarity to it while the initial version is more muddy and chaotic due to the large section of blue, which seems distracting. So, second version it is! The only thing I need to deal with is that this yarn does have more colour chroma differences so I’ll have to fade it properly during yarn switch, but that’s a small problem to resolve.

Knitting event

I’m planning to host a getting started on knitting event for absolute beginners for the first time! After posting to the small group and social media I already got some people sign up. I have materials already so mostly I just need to organize them, think about handout content and put together the resources. And Of course I need to see how other people taught knitting and what are the strategy that I can use. Still lots of work to do but I feel excited!
