Spector Sweater

I will probably put this on hold for now. There are few things I don’t find them satisfying.

The first is the colour of neckline. When I knitted the two samples and compared them, I thought this grey one looks better because it’s less stripy. However, once I have 3 colours on the sweater, this grey on top section looks pale compared to the other colour and it just doesn’t have that colour harmony that I expected. I tried the old sample one, and surprisingly it looks pretty good. Even it looks stripy when I looked it alone, when blending with the other colours, it is the colour theme that stands out and the stripy effect looks very minimal.

Long story short, this whole thing is probably gonna be unravelled and I know mohair would be a pain in the ass to do so. I’m quite busy recently and don’t have the courage to do it now. Will leave it for another day when I want to pick it up. Maybe the best approach is to use the stash on the old sample - that would be my preferred approach to get started. At least this way I don’t need to frog the entire sweater first!!
